Tamworth travelled to Nottingham knowing they needed to pick up some points. From the start of the game both teams were playing well & creating opportunities both ends of the pitch. Boots were the first to score with a well worked short corner. Tamworth didn't step back & carried on creating chances, eventually the ball saw the back of the net after Alex Banks smashed the ball across the D to find the end of Amie Hydes stick. It wasn't long before Boots got back into the game with another goal after some controversial decisions from the umpire. In the second half, the pace didn't drop & both teams were fighting hard. Tamworth had the first break through as Gemma Rowe smashed the ball into the goal from a short corner.
