Tamworth Ladies Seconds Vs Stafford

Tamworth started brightly passing the ball around well. Anne Marshall opened the scoring with a strong run and finish from a narrow angle. Stafford then picked up their play and scored 2 quick goals. Just before half time Claire miles equalised from a short corner going in honours even at the break. Tamworth started the second half strongly again and Marshall scored a second again from a strong run at their defence.  Vikki Buttler made a couple of excellent saves to keep Tamworth ahead and a week worked move that saw the unselfish Miles pass the ball in front of the goal to Ella Turner to close the game with a 4 2 win to tamworth.  Joint players of the match were Hannah Male and Marite Liepina-Liepa who ran well in midfield and attack creating chances all game.
