Tamworth saved their best play to the last league match of the season. All player passed the ball well around the pitch and both teams had chances to open the scoring. League champions Bloxwich held the Tamworth attack back and opened the scoring with a well struck short corner late in the first half. Youngsters Issy Hounsome and Ellie White ran themselves ragged, beating the opposition to the ball every time. Tamsin Cross had another strong game in midfield and old timer Sarah Hutchins tackled well. Late in the game after a period of excellent pressure from Tamworth a Bloxwich defender ran the length of the field and scored their second. League and club player of the match was Hounsome.
