The penultimate game of the season Tamworth travelled to Kettering with the bare 11. The majority of the first half Tamworth held Kettering at bay clearing the ball out but finding hard to keep possession for any length of time with the experience and ability of Kettering. Lucy Plant playing centre back made some crucial tackles but Kettering went into half time 2-0. Kettering upped the tempo in the second half and Tamworth were under pressure for majority of the half but the effort and hard work put in by the team was outstanding, never giving up. Claire Hicks worked tirelessly in the centre midfield and Jess barker giving another fine performance.
