On a very wet and windy morning the ladies travelled to Bloxwich. Tamworth opened the game with determination and grit with chances on goal coming thick and fast. Bea Pound combining with Beth Barrett created many chances. Bloxwich were awarded a flick which they failed to capitalise on. Half time with score at 0-0 Tamworth came out strong again with excellent work in the midfield created a chance in the 'D' for Lisa Morris-Wood to slot the ball in the goal. Tamworth got caught down the left and a soft goal by Bloxwich saw the score equal again. Bloxwich then took the lead due to an unfortunate deflection off Fiona Whittaker’s foot in to the goal. Tamworth continued to battle hard but harshly they came off with undeserved defeat.
