| Match Report | After a disappointing result on Saturday Tamworth went into the game on Sunday with a positive attitude & mind set. Despite playing against a young fit uni side Tamworth worked tirelessly hard & battled well all over the pitch, despite all this the Uni side went into half time 2-0 up. The second half was a different story & Tamworth created multiple chances, one which saw Gemma Rowe hit the post on a short corner. Uni of Notts didn’t let up all game & had chances themselves but Tamworth’s defence kept strong & numerous incredible saves were made from Connie Wain. Tamworth were a different team on Sunday & go into next week looking to get back on track with a win. Special mention goes to the young Alex Wylie who had her debut weekend with the first team & played incredible with great skill & maturity along with her sister Tara. With youngsters like them, the future looks bright for Tamworth hockey club.
