Tamworth's inconsistent form continued on Saturday as they suffered a disappointing loss to WATS.  Although the town side enjoyed lots of possession they lacked a cutting edge, and with WATS rarely threatening Tamworth's defence the score remained 0-0 at half time.
All the goals came in the second half, WATS took the lead against the run of play in the 43rd minute but their lead was short lived as the town side equalised a minute later through Claire Miles. Sarah Arnold gave Tamworth the lead but they too couldn't hold onto their lead as a minute later a WATS strikers shot took an unlucky deflection off a defenders stick to wrong foot the GK and make the score 2-2. Tamworth created a number of goal scoring opportunities but we're unable to capitalise and in defence Sam Bowyer was having an excellent game making some vital tackles and clearances before a flowing move by WATS saw them score the winning goal in the 63rd minute.
