The first half saw Tamworth create numerous chances and Wednesbury had their keeper to thank after he made three top class saves from Ian Wagstaff, Ben Popple and Tom Sperrink. Tamworth took their momentum into the second half and eventually took the lead when Sperrink won a penalty flick and Wagstaff converted. The win was completed when Sperrink scored an excellent deflection leaving the keeper with no chance. |
