About the club

Tamworth Hockey Club has around 86 regular senior players and seven senior league hockey teams.

• Men's 1st XI - East Midlands Division 1
• Men's 2nd XI - West MidlandsDivision 2 – promoted in 2009/10 season
• Men's 3rd XI - East MidlandsDivision 2 – promoted in 2009/10 season
• Men's 4th XI - Central League North East Division 2
   
• Ladies' 1st XI - Midlands West Division 1 – promoted in 2009/10 season
• Ladies' 2nd XI - Staffordshire Division 2
• Ladies' 3rd XI - Staffordshire Division 4

The club's senior teams are also competing in the England Hockey Men's Vase and the England Hockey Mixed Trophy in 2009/10.

The club has around 42 regular junior players and currently runs regular training sessions for its junior membership and we have several representatives participating in the Single System.  We also enters u.12 and u.14 mixed and girls teams into junior hockey mini-festivals, and u.18 junior teams whenever possible.

Tamworth Hockey Club club has 8 qualified coaches (Level 2 – 2, Level 1 – 6) and 10 Level 1 qualified umpires.
